Pack More Than Your Golf Bag for Your Unlimited Golf Getaway
We want to ensure that you’re well prepared for your unlimited golf getaway. We already know that you plan on hitting the links and seeing if you can lower your handicap, so you’ll surely be bringing along your driver, 9-iron, and putter. But what other non-golf essentials should you have with you? There’s nothing worse than being on vacation and finding out that you’re missing something important, so follow our simple guideline and you’ll be teeing off without any worries!
The first thing is first, you have to be able to get to your destination. Before you head to the airport make sure that you have all the travel documents that you need. Your passport, driver’s license, and plane ticket will all be needed, so don’t forget them! You’ll also need your carry-on bag and your TSA approved locks, so your bag doesn’t get rummaged through.
Dress to Impress
You’re going to be packing your sweet threads for your time on the fairway, so that means those lightweight golf shirts, khaki shorts, and golf cleats. But when you’re not putting on the green, you’re going to want to make sure you’re comfortable. Bring some lightweight shirts and shorts, because the average temperature tends to be 82-degrees. Multiple bathing suits will also come in handy and what will be better than looking your best on the beach?
Depending on where you plan to dine, you might need to pack some fancier attire like a suit jacket or stylish dress. Do your research so you’re well prepared! You can’t go wrong throwing in a light jacket and umbrella, because you never know when the weather can change.
Let the Sun Shine
The sun is going to beating down while you’re out on Moon Palace Golf Course on your golf getaway and you don’t wan to let a little sunburn damper all of your fun! Throw the sunblock, Aloe Vera, and lip balm with SPF in the bag to protect yourself. A pair of sunglasses and a hat will go a long way in keeping you in the shade, but be sure to bring a backup pair just in case!
No matter where your vacation takes you in the Caribbean, it’ll never hurt to pack a first aid kit, a waterproof bag, snorkel gear, and an extra bag for your laundry. It would be beneficial to keep in mind whether or not your resort has beach towels or a small gift shop where you can pick up a razor, batteries, and any other toiletries.
